In 2010, BlackCompass was engaged by a local government agency on a major SharePoint based intranet development project.

This project aims to integrate and migrate large number of enterprise applications and data, simplify the opertional environment, and reduce the related operational cost.
Through this project, BlackCompass was able to:
- Use BlackCompass server investigation toolset (WSIT) to Perform detailed, in-depth investigation into the exiting complex opertional environment
- Migrate/re-develop many enterprise applications
- Migrate large volumes of data, convert them to technological neutral formats, to be used by different technologies
- Automatically detect and resolve data inconsistencies based on business rules
The success of this project has reduced the operational cost by $500,000 to 1M, every year
